A second edition of the book Libuše Niklová !!!

Taktum publisher, based in Prague, is going to publish a 2nd (enlarged and modified) monograph of the Czech toy designer Libuše Niklová. The first edition was completely sold out.

Libuše Niklová's monograph won The Most Beautiful Czech Book of the Year!

Libuše Niklová's monograph won The Most Beautiful Czech Book of the Year 2010, the award of the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic and the Museum of Czech Literature.

New Book! Czech Design 01

My book Czech Design 01 has just been published by the Prostor publishing house in Prague.

The book presents 358 works created by 174 designers during the period from 2000 to 2006 and covers the fields of interior objects (furniture, lighting etc.), fashion, industrial design as well as graphic design.
It aims at showing that contemporary Czech design is on a high level and worth paying attention to.
Its emotional and very fresh graphic layout is signed by Zuzana Lednicka from the Studio Najbrt based in Prague (www.najbrt.cz).
